  1. Powerful yet quiet

After a very long time with a old standard fan above my cook top, i finally switched to this product. It is quiet and offers great air flow. Solid build construction.

  2. Ultra quiet maybe an exaggeration. But overall good quality

    Very nicely built box.
The blower fan is not the quietest. However since this is a remote unit. You can technically mount this very far from where you need it and use it to almost eliminate the noise.
It has a 110v plug attached to it which is nice if you have a switched outlet.
If not you can still cut it and wire it into a box.
The box is nicely powder coated and finished steel.
    Overall would recommend.

  3. Solid, Powerful, Quiet. Quality Unit!

    Solid, Powerful, Quiet. Quality Unit!

I needed a good fan to install in a laundry room to exchange the air and get rid of excess moisture. This fan does a great job.

It was easy to install. It fastened solidly to rafters and extended into the ceiling below. I connected galvanized hard duct to it and vented through the roof. 120V power was delivered through a switch, timer, and humidistat, then up to the fan motor. Connections were obvious and simple. The fan moves a lot of air. You can hear it run but it isn’t obnoxiously loud. Importantly, it doesn’t rattle and howl like the old one I removed. It sounds smooth and performs really well, cycling on/off as commanded by the controls.

This is a really good fan. It was easy to install. The cruddy fan it replaced ran for 20 years (although it has been marginal for the last 5). I plan to keep this new one on a yearly maintenance schedule to make sure it is kept clean and lubricated. I expect great, long-term performance from it. This fan feels/operates like a high quality unit and should last at least as long as the old one, if not much longer.

If you need to get a quality fan, I recommend this one. Great seller, awesome equipment, and fast shipping!

  4. Quiet but good air flow

Unlike many exhaust fan, this enclosed exhaust unit is rather quiet. Attaching the necessary pipes are easy. The build quality is solid with metal case and included straps. I didn’t have to use the strap but they are eady to handle and can hold weight well.
The motor is quiet but very functional. I can feel the air current really well when turned on.
Because of its low noise level, I recommend using this close to living area like kitchen. You can benefit the most with close living area setting.

  5. Very quiet ducted fan with low 50w power consumption.

This feels like a durable housing for a ducted remote fan. I can barely hear it when it spins up, and it moves a decent amount of air. I know the 4″ spiral ducting I chose restricts the flow, but no ducting or clamps were included.
The mounting screws for the duct adapters are hit and miss. One of the screws didn’t get properly stamped and the phillips head wasn’t fully developed. Luckily extras were included, and I didn’t end up using the hanging ears I mounted anyways.
There is a reset button on the fan which should probably be kept accessible. The attached 3-prong cord is plenty heavy for the 1/2 amp draw, but at only about 5′ long, might need an extension cord or outlet box mounted nearby. Easy enough to cut the end off and wire into a junction box though. The base of the fan box can also be removed to wire directly as well.
Fan came shipped very securely in a heavy cardboard box with corner protectors and loads of foam inside to ensure it arrived undamaged.
If quiet and efficient operation is your priority, this fan is a good choice for remotely ventilating small rooms or boosting a ventilation duct.. Not the most powerful, but a good deal at the price.
